Alexia Galakatos, principle owner of Tega Cay Speaks,
is leading a mission to build a comprehensive speech-language
program for the children of Ethiopia who have been diagnosed
with developmental delays, learning disabilities, and autism
spectrum disorders ... and who would otherwise never have access
to this important and invaluable therapy. In
February and March of 2010, Alexia will be spending three weeks
in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to laythe groundwork for this exciting
project.
This project is 100% self-supporting, and fundraising is an
ongoing effort. To this end, Tega Cay Speaks has joined forces
with Ten Thousand Means (TTM), a non-profit advocacy
organization that acts in partnership with global charities to
assist women and children who suffer from victimization in their
communities. This relationship allows us to accept
tax-deductible contributions through TTM for this important work
