Tega Cay Speaks provides professional services in pediatric Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy as well as Physical Therapy for clients of all ages and stages of development.

Area pediatricians and general practitioners, as well as the South Carolina BabyNet network, continue to show their utmost confidence in our ability to produce superior outcomes by routinely referring their patients to our care.

Ethiopian Outreach

Alexia Galakatos, principle owner of Tega Cay Speaks, is working to build a comprehensive speech-language program for the children of Ethiopia who have been diagnosed with developmental delays, learning disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders ... and who would otherwise never have access to this important and invaluable therapy.

In addition to the work with the special needs children, the non-profit organization being formed will also work to finance two additional programs : 1) planting and cultivating community and school gardens to subsidize the diets of communities suffering from nutritional deficiencies and 2) providing housing, education, characeter development and vocational training to select groups of homeless 'street kids' in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.

BabyNet

Any child up to three years of age may be eligible for BabyNet services from the state of South Carolina, if the child is not reaching age appropriate milestones in one or more areas of development (e.g., communication, self-help, motor skills, social-emotional, cognition, physical).
